Claw vacuum pumps and blowers

Vacuum pumps and blowers accompany the development of today's application industry to meet the continuous development in production and life. Today AVA would like to introduce to you its line of vacuum pumps and claw blowers. With outstanding features and advantages, this is truly an option for the manufacturing industry.

1. What are Claw vacuum pumps and blowers?

Vacuum pump Dry and Claw air blowers create vacuum pressure or non-contact compressed air pressure effectively and economically. This is possible due to the internal compression principle in the rotating shaft design. The air is first compressed in the compression chamber and then blown out.

Dry Claw pumps offer significant energy savings and are highly efficient compared to traditional rotary blower designs.

2. Operating principle of Claw vacuum pumps and blowers.

Claw vacuum and blower pumps are based on a static compression system. In contrast to the rotating lobes, compression occurs internally by volume contraction.

A Claw blower and vacuum pump  consists of two rotors. They rotate in opposite directions in the compressor housing without contact and the clearance is very small, they are synchronized through a pair of precision gears. As the 2 rotors move through the pump connection and the axial pump channel inlet  gas is pumped into the compression chamber.

As the rotors rotate, gas moves from the pump side to the pressure side. It is then compressed by reducing the volume between the rotors until the lower rotor opens to the exhaust channel. This “internal compression” results in high differential pressure with an efficiency of more than 60%.

The pre-compressed air is then discharged through the pressure connection. To remove the heat generated by the compression process, cooling air is pumped between the compressor housing and a muffler cap before it is discharged to the outside of the pump.

3. Advantages of vacuum pumps and claw blowers.

3.1. Highly energy efficient vacuum pump design

The use of an IE3 motor and optimized airflow geometry provides a significant reduction in energy consumption and therefore life cycle costs as well as the flexibility of using an additional inverter to control the machine's speed.

Variable speed for maximum control of pumping force or pressure, our integrated frequency converter ensures energy efficient operation that not only meets legal requirements but also reduces operating costs.

3.2 Longer operating time of vacuum pumps and blowers with lower service costs

Long machine life with low cost of ownership

Gearbox oil changes are only performed after 20,000 hours of operation - depending on the application. This very long service interval translates into many hours of operation with minimal disruption and low service costs.

Coated to prevent corrosion and prolong use

Patented solid dry film coating provides excellent corrosion protection and is ideal for moist applications such as drying processes etc. It also repels dirt and provides better resistance to unwanted material penetration.

4. Applications of vacuum pumps and claw blowers (Claw).

With the advantages of the machine vacuum pump and claw blowers (Claw), so the machine is widely used in the following fields:

  •    Petrochemical industry: crystallization, distillation, polymerization, vacuum evaporation, vacuum drying, negative pressure concentration, oil and gas recovery, adsorption/desorption, biofuels, flammable gases, corrosive gases, chemical reaction absorption, etc.
  •    Pharmaceutical industry: crystallization, distillation, sublimation, drying, deodorization, polymerization, vacuum evaporation, negative pressure filtration, monomer recovery, adsorption/desorption, transportation of corrosive materials, corrosive media, ethylene oxide, etc.
  •    Food industry: vacuum pump sublimation, drying, dehydration, vacuum evaporation, vacuum preservation, vacuum packaging, etc.
  •    Research institutes: rotary distillation, distillation, polymerization, negative pressure filtration, vacuum drying, pilot plant, wind tunnel testing, vacuum environment simulation, etc.
  •    Optoelectronics: impregnation, vacuum coating, ion etching, molecular beam symbol, etc.
  •    Metallurgical industry: Vacuum pump impregnation, extrusion, vacuum coating, ion etching, mud degassing, molten steel degassing, etc.
  •    Other industries: central air conditioning, indoor dust pumping, wastewater treatment, lithium battery production, etc.
