Typical problems on the plant floor
Most vacuum pumps and compressors fail early because the inlet air carries dust, oil mist and water vapour. Pump oil darkens quickly, vanes wear, oil mist escapes into the machine room causing slippery floors and odour, and the cost of oil and pump replacement keeps climbing.
What AVA proposes
Solberg supplies inlet filters, exhaust oil-mist separators and combination units sized to each pump. Fitting the correct size and changing the element on differential pressure rather than by guesswork is the cheapest way to extend pump life; AVA measures the pressure drop at every preventive maintenance visit to decide when to change it.
